Contemporary

To the present day Cornwall attracts and nourishes a significant proportion of the best artists that this country produces. Drawn by a combination of its rich artistic heritage, unique light, climate and pace of life. For our purposes we define Contemporary very simply as those artists active post-1990, either working in or with a strong historic association with Cornwall. Commencing with a select showing of the Cornish works by Fred Yates, our aim, over time, is to present works from the very best of this formidable pool of talent.
